I was delighted to have two of my pieces of flash fiction shortlisted for this contest in Doolin, Ireland. County Clare is a magnificent part of the world, with a wild and beautiful coastline, including the stunning Cliffs of Moher. My grandmother was born in the area. One day I'd love to go back to attend the annual Doolin Writers' Weekend, which was on last week. Looks like a fantastic weekend.
