"My favourite short story           collection of the year...utterly brilliant."

"This is one of the most substantial and memorable collections of short fiction by an Australian writer that I have read for a very long time.”

Recording of my flash fiction, The Mohair Coat

A sound recording of my flash fiction, The Mohair Coat, is available on the current issue of Communion Arts Journal, by Walleah Press in Tasmania. This piece won the UK's Flash 500 contest in 2016, so it's nice to see it out in the world again. The Mohair Coat is about the pain and joy of emigration, and how it laps across generations. Like many, I don't like the sound of my own voice, but Communion Arts Journal is well worth a look, with lots of recorded poetry, stories, essays and music in each edition. Click the button to hear my piece or to read more of the current issue.
