Amanda O'Callaghan is an Australian writer.
A former advertising executive, she has published and won awards in Australia, Ireland, and the UK. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Queensland. She was awarded a Queensland Writers Fellowship (2016) to assist in the completion of her first book of short stories.
Her debut collection, This Taste for Silence, will be published by University of Queensland Press (UQP) in mid-2019.
She lives in Brisbane.
